Name: Zieram Epherim Kotov
Age: 30
Height: 6'7
Hair: Brown/black
Eyes: Brown
Background: Comes from a generous household. His parents were very open minded and kind, his mother simply put, a doll. His father was rather heavy handed but fair, and the feared disciplinarian. His parents relationship was surprisingly strong for an arranged marriage and between them they had four children, Zieram as the oldest with his two younger brothers and the 'middle child', a sister.
His brothers and sisters had reflected the well meaning generosity and equality of his parents, but somehow it had been missed in Zieram. He had quickly established a reputation for being a hard headed and stubborn with a physically sadistic coldness in his treatment of people he considers inferior.
When he had reached the age of eighteen his mother had arranged a marriage for him with his fathers approval to a local merchant's daughter. Rich, cultured and intelligent, they thought she would be a smart match to their son and heir and perhaps able to warm up the cold hearted man. He married her out of duty, and in his negligence and dismissive attitude, the woman pulled away. It was only weeks after their marriage that she discovered the depth of the savagery of her husband, especially when he has made it abundantly clear that he thought her far beneath him due to the lack of any kind of Nobility in her.
Even with what he saw as a serious flaw that negated the woman into something truly beneath him, he had a near complete control over her in almost every aspect of their loves together. The more he controlled her, the more he raped her the further away the woman pulled from reality into the contorted mess in her mind that Zieram nurtured. She didn't snap until she discovered herself pregnant with his child and within weeks she had committed suicide by leaping off the roof of the Kotov home. He didn't miss her at all, and instead insulted her at the funeral before walking away from her cold corpse. He was twenty four.
A few weeks later his father passed away, leaving his widow and four children, one of which the new Count of Brașov. Shortly after, listless and roaming their home late night one night he was considering the proposals of his fifteen year old sister. In all honesty he felt none of them worthy enough of her and consistently sent back rejections to their offers. Wandering the halls, he had stumbled across his sister in the arms of a local Lord's son and lashed out at him, beating him nearly senseless and sending him stumbling out and into the surrounding city. Retaliation came brutally to his sister who was left immobile, screaming in the hallways for help. None came for the fear of their Lord, and all turned a blind eye and deaf ear to her that night. She said nothing of the abuse and treatment to her family and found herself stalked and assaulted repeatedly by him until she finally spoke up, pointing him out and screaming rapist at him after a family feud between Zieram and his family. By the end of the week of her accusation he had sent her to a remote convent where she remains to this day.
His mother and one of his brothers fearfully ran for the city and started trying to gather sympathizers to their plight to over throw Zieram. The other brother simply left the city, self exiling him from the battles that was raised over the title of Count...the revolt was short lived when spies and loyalists found and captured his mother and brother and brought them to him. Presented to him he had them stripped naked and put to their knees, where he had his mother executed, and his brother forced into suicide. His rule is simple and complete at that point.
