House Holdings: the city of Basti, various villa style homes about the city and the countryside surrounding the city(Basti),their main residence in the city(Basti), and other lands and holdings



House Sigil:A golden double headed eagle with it's wings spread, talons clutching an eye(said to symbolise the Houses talent for spying)

House History: ( will ask details for this as in when it was formed how it gained it's power so on and so forth. The larger and more powerful houses will require a bit more history)





Castus the Great, as he would come to be called later in his life, founded House Treyvane in the Time of the True Kings. A minor noble at the time of his Houses founding, Castus



found favor with the High Lord of House Akatan and was rewarded with the ultimate prize, the hand of the High Lord's daughter in marriage and permission to establish his own



noble House. The successive centuries saw the fortunes of House Treyvane rise. It's Lords possessing an acuemen for political intrigues and garnering information to use for said



intrigues. The first Lords of House Treyvane were able to parlay their meager holdings into a vast fortune, lands and the power and prestige one amasses from such things.



When the last of the Storm King's died, the Lord of House Akatan, a blood kinsmen to the Lord of House Treyvane pressed his rights to the Throne and was denied. Upon



having his claim denied, the Lord of House Akatan broke away from the Realm and founded and empire far to it's west, the Akatan Empire. Lord Julian(of House Treyvane),



refused to ally with his kinsmen and join the new Akatan Empire; a refusal that sparked trouble between the relations from that point to the end of the Akatan Empire and



the House that founded it.



Eighty years ago, when the Akatan Empire made it's last great raid of the Western region, House Treyvane was instrumental in repelling the invaders and would march



with the force that captured many of the Akatan lands including the city of Basti. As a reward for the valian service of the Lord of House Treyvane in that conflict, he and



his heirs, until the end of time were granted the Title of Lords of Basti and all that the position conferred upon them. As Lords of Basti, the Treyvane's have continued



much of the traditions of the city and it's former masters(in as much as they could legally) and have fashioned themselves as Akatan Lords(dressing in the Romanesque style



taking Roman style names etc etc). The Treyvane's have held their holdings for millenia and have become the West's second greatest House and one of the greatest throughout



the Realm. The Lords of House Treyvane and indeed all members of the House are known for their political acuemen and their intelligence gathering skill: abilites that aided their



forefathers in the creation of their great noble house.(House Treyvane is also almost synonomous with wealth; owing to the fact that their lands are the site of vast gold and silver





deposits)
