Name: Clan of the Night Stag (Or more simply 'The Night Stag')
House Holdings: Has no offical holdings, lands, titles, ETC, though at any given time has between one hundred to two hundred men of fighting age
(not including women and children)
Clan Colors: White, Blue, and Black
Sigil: A stags head facing towards the viewer, usually of white or blue, on a background of the other color (white or blue)
Location: The North
House History: It is assumed that the Night Stag was always around, a smaller clan within the larger Tribes of the North. This clan was named due to the sight of a pure black stag before one of the major battles in the Tribes history. They are so small and tucked away in fact that most do not ever hear of them. If they are joined together by a common ancestor or event, no-one, not even the elders, can remember. That said however, this clan is one of many that fall under the larger banner of the Tribes of the Mother and Father Wolf.
Members of this particular clan are matriarchial, lead by an elder female. She is advised by a war chief and a spiritual chief (sometimes called a medicine man, shaman, witch, wizard, or other term, but it is all the same person) in a triumbrate of power. All clan decisions go through the triumbrate.
Unlike most other places having multipule mates is not frowned upon. Both male and female can have as many mates as they want, of any gender they desire, so long as it is blessed by the trimubrate, and they can support all their mates equally.
Furthermore, as a form of punishment within the clan, one can be made a servant for a certain span of time, depending upon the offence and other factors.
It may also be important to mention that the Tribe as a whole does not bow or acknowledge any given Lord, Lady, or House though certain individuals may.
These tribes and clans are spotted throughout the North, though certain lands are consitered to be ancestrial hunting lands of one or more clans within a tribe. Usually clans within a tribe co-operate well, and do not mind sharing resources if the resources are plentiful. Another tribe coming into their land though, and things can turn very ugly, very quickly.
Each clan does have a clan 'home' or 'settlement' which they may retire to, particularly in the deep months of winter when a nomatic life is unsafe for many reasons. With exception to this 'home' however, the vast majority of the clans tend to be psudo-nomadic and hunter-gatherer types
